What is ASIST?
ASIST – Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training – teaches you to identify people having thoughts of suicide and who may be at risk
Someone thinking about suicide may not ask for help, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help. Most people thinking of suicide just want the pain to stop. Talking openly about suicide can help save a life.
Anyone can learn these skills, including:
Elders and spiritual leaders
