On February 28, 2020 Community Bridge received a visit from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local union 993, 258, 213 and 258. They came with donations of their newly created “comfort cases” for our Meaope Transition House. These Comfort Cases are filled with a new set of clothing, and personal hygiene items for victims of assault.
Our Meaope House provides 24 hour safe and secure shelter to women who are victims of violence or abuse, and their children. Abuse can be physical, emotional or verbal. Our program can be accessed 24 hours a day and by women whom are 19 years of age or older. If you are experiencing abuse call anytime #250-785-5208.
This donation is heartwarming and we the staff at Community Bridge are very appreciative. These will be used to continue supporting victims of assault.
