Out of Sight. Out of Mind: Energy Development and the Safety of Indigenous Women & Girls in Northeast BC. Join Amnesty International and special guests at an important Public Forum Friday Nov 4, 2016 on energy development and the safety of Indigenous women & girls in northeast BC. This forum follows the Nov 3 launch of Amnesty International’s report on the impact of resource development on Indigenous women & girls. A panel, including frontline service providers, community activists, people impacted by violence, and public officials, will discuss the issues raised in the report. Audience members will be invited to engage in the discussion and ask questions.
