STOP Program sessions starting March 2017

STOP is a group program for men who use violence, physical, psychological, and/or sexual, or controlling behaviours within their intimate relationships.

The program will be offered to men who have not yet been charged or convicted of assault, but who acknowledge abusive behaviours in their relationships and want to make changes.

STOP comprises 12 - two hour sessions co-facilitated by one male and one female counsellor to model respectful relationships.

Men’s Group - The men's weekly sessions will start on Thursday, March 9th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Community Bridge.

Women’s Group - The men’s partners may also take part in the program, participating separate from the men, but learning the same knowledge and skills. The women's weekly sessions will start on Monday, March 6th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

There is no charge for the program.

We will accept self-referrals and referrals from community agencies. There is no charge for the program. To ensure enough participants to run the program successfully, we are asking for referrals now.
