What makes you proud of your community? What could use improvement? This month Fort St John folks have a chance to contribute to a British Columbia Social Policy Framework for Wellbeing investigating these ideas. Called There is a Better Way, this is a unique citizen- and volunteer-driven project to find out what we are doing right in British Columbia and what needs improvement.
A made-in-B.C. social policy framework, spearheaded by the Board Voice Society, will be built from the ground up through public conversations about human happiness and well-being. Through this initiative, government will develop a concrete plan for making our communities and individual lives better.
Beginning this month, Community Bridge reps Alicia and Debra will be asking people from all walks of life what Fort St John is already doing to promote the well-being of everyone who lives here, and how might it be done even better.
