Daddy & Me Program


     

No charge to attend - Snacks provided. Drop In – Register when you get there.

Daddy and Me community events are offered monthly in partnership with a community agency or business.  Events could be physical activities like swimming, martial arts, and bowling or gymnastics or other fun activities like crafts, games or a visit to a petting zoo.

PROGRAM FOCUS

Daddy and Me events promote positive father involvement and strengthen the father-child relationship which benefits the whole family. They also create an awareness of community resources and provide an opportunity for Dads to meet other Dads.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Dads, Grandpas, Uncles & other male caregivers and their children birth to 6 years of age.

WHAT HAPPENS AT A DADDY & ME EVENT?

The program offers a group setting where Dads and their children have fun together, learning through play.

The setting is welcoming, relaxed, and informal and children participate as is appropriate for their stage of development and desire.
Activities vary depending on who is hosting the community event which allows for a wide variety of fun experiences that support the child's whole development.

Snacks are provided.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

Opportunities for Dads/male caregivers to strengthen the father-child relationship which benefits the whole family.

Daddy and Me events promote positive father involvement to enhance child development. The whole family benefits. One dad said, “It’s great to have a place to take my children and meet other Dads.”
