Who Is This Program For?
A transition house provides 24 hour safe and secure shelter to women who are victims of violence or abuse and their children. There is no cost for these services.
Abuse can be physical, emotional or verbal.
Abuse is when you are threatened or harmed physically, emotionally, mentally or financially by another individual. This includes sexual abuse and sexual assault.
How to Access the Program?
You may access the program 24 hours a day if:
- You are 19 years of age or older and
- You are a victim of violence or abuse
