- Bachelor's Degree in a related human/social service field
- Three (3) years experience working with children, youth, and family serving program/facilities
- Experience in an accreddited agency an asset
- Management/supervisory experience an asset
- Knowledge of cultural sensitivities and the ability to work with diverse populations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Jobs Skills and Abilities:
- To assist with and support planning and directing services for Community Bridge counselling and support programs as part of the management team
- Work with the management team to lead and manage a team of social services professionals, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality care
- Provide support to team members to ensure they perform their duties effectively and meet performance and accreditation standards. Identify training needs and organize professional development opportunities to help employees enhance their skills and knowledge
- Foster a positive work environment that motivates employees, promotes teamwork, and recognizes individual and team achievements
- Collaborate with management team to screen, interview, and evaluate candidates. Provide orientation for new employees
- Assist management with employee performance evaluations, disciplinary processes, and termination decision when necessary
- Work closely with management for employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes all in accordance with BCGEU standards
- Participates in the assessment and resolution of operational issues and in the development and implementation of strategic plans
- Responsible for day-to-day program operations
Other Job Information:
- Ability to operate a PC and related software
- Have a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Must pass a Criminal Record Check

Hourly Rate:
25 hours per week
$35.50 - $39.97 per hour
