Qualifications

Master’s Degree in a related human services discipline and registerable with a relevant professional body. Two years (2) experience working with children, youth, family and family violence serving programs. Experience in an accredited agency an asset. Two (2) year’s supervisory experience an asset. Knowledge of cultural sensitivities and the ability to work with diverse populations. Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Leadership & Staff Management

To plan and direct services for Community Bridge counselling and support programs as part of the management team. Lead and manage a team of social services professionals, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality care.  Participate in the hiring of employees and program orientation. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure they perform their duties effectively and meet performance standards.  Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, provide constructive feedback, and develop improvement plans for employees as needed.  Identify training needs and organize professional development opportunities to help employees enhance their skills and knowledge. Foster a positive work environment that motivates employees, promotes teamwork, and recognizes individual and team achievements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and clinical services, leadership, and program management.  This role is crucial to ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients and fostering a supportive work environment for our team.  Participates in the assessment and resolution of operational issues and in the development and implementation of strategic plans. Responsible for day-to-day program operations and monitoring of staff expenditures. Responsible, as part of the management team to oversee the overall operations in the Executive Director’s absence.

Other Job Information

Ability to operate a PC and related software. Have valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Must pass a Criminal Record Check. Full benefits package – dental, medical, pension, travel, employee family assistance program, paid time off.

$44.63-$54.25
